Washed a pair of ski gloves and sent them through the dryer and then put them on the DryGuy. Took over 2 hours to dry them. It doesn’t seem like there is enough heat to get them dry, and no way to adjust the heat setting other than on or off.

As the owner of DryGuy and a number of boot dryer patents I can say in all honesty the DG1 is the strongest running utilitarian dryer built. Our familly has the choice of any dryer in the market and we consistently use the DryGuy. It is quiet reliable and above all fast. You can expect an 80,000 hour life from the dryer — that is a lot of one hour dry cycles. For skiing we load our ski boots on the rear uprights (buckles facing rear), gloves on the front tubes. Helmets with gogles in place are then positoned on top of the boots. We the hang accessories such as gaitors , face masks, and glove liners over the boot soles. Everthing is dry to pack or wear in an hour.
For soccer shoes, basket ball shoes, gardening shoes and gardening gloves we just stick them on the DryGuy for an hour.
The DryGuy makes quick work out of wet suit gloves and booties. When the booties and gloves are dry hang your wet suit and put the legs over the upright tubes.
You will be amazed not only by the speed and convenience but by the fact your glove and shoes will no longer stink! Enjoy–you can usually find some one at the DryGuy office if you have any questions.

I just paid $89 and now its $62. This always happens to me. I have not used it yet but after receiving it, I am not sure why it is so expensive. I mean a hair dryer is more powerfull and they cost $10. This has slightly more mass than maybe 2 hair dryers. I thought it would be bigger. This unit should be $40 tops.

My son plays basketball, baseball, and football and his shoes would be soaked from sweat. The basketball shoes now get dry within 2 hours of him getting home, and they are ready for the next day’s practice and games, and they don’t smell as bad. For football, we use this to dry both his shoes and his gloves. Not only do they full of perspiration, but the team practices outside, even if it is raining. Again, the shoes and gloves are dry within 2 hours of getting home and putting them on the dryer. I feel sorry for kids that need to put on wet shoes! We are VERY happy with this product!

This product is great for drying up to 2 pair of shoes. It has a heat and an air dry setting timer. It’ll dry most shoes within 1 hour. Soaking wet (ALL the way soaked through) shoes take just slightly longer. Not very noisy either. It gets a huge workout in our house with soccer cleats and it does the job very well. Dries them quickly and greatly cuts down on the damp smell that can accompany often wet shoes. I would highly recommend this product. It’s worth the higher price because it gets the job done well & fast!
