It charges my phone. I usually leave it plugged into an 8900 charging pod, but it works with that. This product will also work to charge my mom’s consumer slider phone that has a microUSB plug so it will work with other devices aside from blackberry’s.
Not much else to say aside from it provides a standard charge to a standard charging port…

bought this unit wrong was not for 8900 did not fit in slot,returned unit!
only spent 6.00 but was just left with the usb plug to charge the phone with.

The cords work great only the picture showed the plug folding shut. I wanted it to fold because I travel a lot. It does not fold. It is just like the original cord that came with my phone.

I always like to have a spare charger and it just like the origional I received with my phone. Can not go wrong ordering from source. I do like the folding plug when taking this one traveling.
